Emelianenko to meet Asia’s Champion

A match meet "Russian Team vs. World Team" will be held on November 30, 2007 at the Luzhniki Small Sports Arena. One of the key events of the tournament is Alexander Emelianenko’s fight against the Asian Champion, many-time winner of the international Combat Sambo championships Lee San Soo (South Korea).

Alexander Emelianenko, a three time World and European Combat Sambo champion is a professional Pride Fighter. He’s got a unique kicking technique and shows excellent reflexes.

His adversary Li San Su is five years younger but professionals already consider him to be a rough and quick fighter. He won many of national judo championships, is a winner of international Universal Fighting Championships in Japan (Rings version). Has an extremely good throwing technique and strong at mat wrestling. Professional predict good chances for the promising Korean athlete to win taking into account his motivation and severity of fighting.

Lee San Soo is planning to beat Alexander at this tournament and after some time to meet Fedor, Alexander Emelianenko’s brother, in the ring.
