Past Friday Alexander Emelianenko participated in a match martial arts event Battle of the Champions held in Luzhniki where the Russian national team fought versus the world team.

There were 16 combats during the match meet, each of them representing a fight in a certain martial arts style. Alexander Emelianenko competed against a well-known Korean athlete Lee San Soo according to the Combat Sambo rules. Alexander has gained an early victory during the second minute of the fight as his adversary could not continue the combat.

The event was attended by the President Vladimir Putin who came two hours before the meet finished and stayed to watch the fights right to the end.
