Splited up winOctober 04, 2009 On the “3th of October 2009” Alexander Emelyanenko three times combat sambo world champion and combat sambo European champion had his debut as a professional boxer. Hizir Pliev master of sports in boxing, Russian kickboxing champion was Alexander`s contender. A fight extended by four rounds and finished by draw. According to experts that fight was not a “pass-through” fight for both of them. It was a great battle. Fighters showed their high skills and will to win. Those four rounds were not enough to bring out a winner. Pliev was dominating in first two rounds but in third and fourth rounds Alexander Emelyanenko was showing all the best of him. After that fight Alexander Emelyanenko found that “duel was exciting and his opponent showed high-class boxing and great fighting skills”.
First of all that fight for Alexander was an opportunity to try himself on a new field and to receive a new skills in boxing. Also Alexander wants to draw public attention to Russian boxing.
Alexander`s trainer Uriy Razumov: “Alexander received huge experience in that fight. Most of the battles in mixed martial fights finish much faster than in boxing. For example Alexander`s last fight in MMA finished in 50 sec., so four rounds for Alexander is not enough to show all the best of him. However he sustained a tactical plan in corpore for that fight.”
Alexander is going to develop his career in MMA, BOXING and in combat sambo. Soon we will se Alexander in new tournament.
