Warsaw, Poland. August, the 25th. MMA organization Strefa Walk has announced the date of the tournament which will take place in the capital of Poland on the 28th of October. Main event of the tournament will be the bout with participation of Alex Emelyanenko.

Polish heavyweight Tomak Novak which had to become Alex`s opponent has refused to participate the tournament two days before the press-conference. Official version of his refusal was the lack of time to prepare for this fight.

 

Strefa Walk is now considering a few candidatures which could be named within next week. “I don`t care who will stand against me. I am ready to fight with the best. Hope that new opponent will be named soon,” - said Alex.

 

After press-conference Alex held an opened training where he showed his full preparedness and physical fitness for the fight. The former strongest man on the planet Maruiz Pudzanovski has become Alex`s sparring-parner.
