On November 17 Alexander Emelianenko, one of the world's strongest Mixed Fighting and Combat Sambo fighters, had his first open meeting with fans in the PIK shopping centre.

Alexander Emelianenko is one of the famous top 10 Mixed Fight fighters, he gets more than a hundred letters with questions and compliments every day. So, for the first time in Russia an open meeting of the world famous rings star with his fans was organized.

The hall of the shopping centre gathered more than 500 guests and the flow of people who wanted a photo with Alexander and his autograph didn't stop for three hours. During this time Emelianenko answered all the questions as well as gave a short self-defense master class for the ladies. 'Don't lose your courage', 'Always keep the distance from the assaulter' and several classical kicks were the advice of the world champion who uses force only in the ring.

An arm-wrestling competition was held during the meeting and the winner had the chance to measure his strength with Alexander Emelianenko himself. About seventy daredevils fought for the right to try and surpass the many times world champion. Alexander met the challenge of the three most sturdy guests of the meeting who showed themselves fit even in the combat with one of the strongest man of the world.

There was an official sale of t-shirts and Alexander's photos during the event. Raised funds were announced to be the first contribution to the charity Alexander Emelianenko Problem Teenagers Aid Fund, due to be inaugurated in December 2007.

Today Alexander Emelianenko is not only the Three Times World Combat Sambo Champion but also one of the top ten Ultimate Fighters of the world. Athletes withdraw from the competitions after Alexander announces his participation. At Canada's HCF Championship that finished less than a month ago Alexander Emelianenko beat one of his strongest adversaries, Dan Bobish, in the first round at 1:09. Alexander won 11 of his 14 fights. Vladimir Putin, Silvio Berlusconi and Jean-Claude Van Damme as well as other celebrities used to be guests at his competions.
